Sponseller Group is looking for an experienced structural designer to work in our Holland, Ohio office. 

Your project tasks will include:

  • Coordinating with team members, clients, and contractors to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Review project with the engineer to develop and refine the scope.  
  • Create detail construction drawings consistent with their needs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project site conditions prior to start of project.

    Requirements Successful candidate will have:

    • A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
    • Two to five years of experience.
    • Accomplished in the use of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
    • Reside in or near the Holland, Ohio area.
    • Basic understanding of project requirements and codes.
    • Development skills of structural drawings using AutoCAD for elements such as structural steel, equipment layouts, stairs, handrails, and platforms.
    • Work closely with a diverse and skilled team comprising both men and women engineers, designers, and detailers.

      Structural engineers have access to RISA-3D, Foundation, and Connection, TEDDS, RAM Structural Systems, MathCAD, Bentley’s STAAD, and STAAD Foundation along with other software packages.
